In March 2016, Wright Robinson College was inspected by Ofsted under the new more rigorous inspection framework introduced in September 2015. Ofsted judged the College to be ‘Outstanding.’ After twenty five years in headship, this was an accomplishment which everyone is rightly proud of achieving. This is a remarkable achievement for an inner city school and flys in the face of the criticism that many northern LEAs and schools are chastened with by HMI Chief Inspector of Schools.
