| About Us | Work Play Succeed Headteacher Caitriona Bull West Park CE Primary School has 27 classes, 789 pupils and a special support centre for pupils with additional learning needs and physical disabilities. In November 2013 Ofsted graded school effectiveness as requires improvement overall. I joined the school in January 2014 and inherited a wonderful team who were committed to improving standards. I realised that we would have to make some fundamental changes to our provision to enable us to have the flexibility in our curriculum and make rapid improvements that would be sustained throughout the school. Our key areas for development were to ensure all teaching was at least good; marking was good, improve achievement in Maths and improve the rate of progress of our pupils receiving pupil premium funding. |
