It serves a community that has a significant number of pupils who are eligible for pupil premium as an additional resource. In 2010 results were below floor targets, a National Leader in Education (NLE) was appointed to offer the school a positive direction towards improving provision, resources and teaching and learning. Underperformance to “Literacy school of the Year 2013” in three years. Reading is the key that unlocks learning. |
