| About Us | ‘Learning For Life’ Thomas Arnold primary school is a larger than average sized, mixed 3-11 comprehensive school located in the heart of Dagenham. Over half of the pupils are white British and other children are from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds. Half of our children are deemed to be free school meals. Our head teacher, Mr John Halliwell, was appointed in April 2012. His vision was to create ‘Thriving Happy Open Minded Achieving Students’. The objectives were clear and the aim of achieving it would take hard work, dedication and every member of the team pulling together in order to turn around a school that had way too much potential to build brighter futures. |
