Talavera Junior School

Talavera Junior School serves a diverse community with 75% of our children from a service background, over 40% EAL and non- white British background. Our three form junior school is situated in Aldershot, Hampshire. Turbulence is high with the militarily element so children have approximately 2 years being educated with us.

Talavera Junior School went into special measures in 2009 and started the strategic journey to good, which was recognised by Ofsted in 2013. I took the Headship at Talavera Junior in September 2015. I knew instantly when I visited the school that it would be a privilege to take Talavera on the next step of its journey to Outstanding. The school achieved Outstanding in all areas in November 2018.
