Where everyone matters and every day counts

Stoneyholme Community Primary School is larger than the average-sized primary school. The majority of pupils are of Pakistani and Bangladeshi heritage. A much larger than average proportion of pupils speak English as an additional language. The proportion of pupils supported by the pupil premium is much higher than the national average. The pupil premium is additional government funding to support pupils who are known to be eligible for free school meals or who are looked after by the local authority.

The proportion of pupils with disabilities or special educational needs is below the national average. Children enter the school in Reception on a full-time basis. The school meets the government’s current floor standards, which are the minimum expectations for pupils’ attainment and progress in reading, writing and mathematics by the end of Year 6.
