About Us | Anchored in God on course for excellence St Mary’s Island Church of England (Aided) Primary is a community school in Medway, Kent. It is larger than the average sized primary school with 414 children split across 14 classes. The large majority of pupils are from white British backgrounds. Others come from a wide variety of backgrounds, including African, Black Caribbean, Chinese, Indian, Pakistani and other ethnic and White heritages.
