St Mark’s is a two-form entry urban primary school. Just over half our pupils come from families of White British heritage. The other pupils come from a range of different minority ethnic backgrounds. We are proud of the way in which our Christian Values underpin all that we do.

‘Prior to my appointment in September 2012, the school went through a period of staffing instability and changes during which standards started to decline rapidly.’

However, by 2013 at Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 we were significantly above the National average in every measure.
