St Francis Xavier’s is an 11-18 comprehensive school of 1300 students in south Liverpool. We aim for excellence in all aspects of College life and nowhere is this seen more clearly than in the improved academic performance of youngsters over the last 5 years. This was clearly recognised by Ofsted in February 2010 where inspectors reported that “…the performance of the school is improving significantly in many key aspects, such as attainment in English and Mathematics”. They went on to say that “..they [students] are outstandingly well prepared for their future economic wellbeing”.

The College offers a rich and varied curriculum to students of all abilities. It is designed to stretch the gifted and to encourage those who need additional support.
