Seven Sisters Primary School

Seven Sisters Primary School and Centre is a community school in the heart of Tottenham. The school is in an area of high deprivation, with more deprived children than 99% of other schools nationally. The school itself is a large Victorian building, fortunate to have large playgrounds, which over the past two years have been redesigned to support the increasing numbers of pupils who have limited access to outdoor space.

The school has been through tough times; having gone from special measures to requires improvement with a high turnover of staff. When I started in September 2015 the school was on an upward trajectory. The senior leadership team was new and Ofsted was imminent. The first job was to create a school vision with parents, teachers, children and the community.
