I became Headteacher of Putnoe in 2005 when it was a Lower School with 160 pupils. In 2011 we became the first Primary School in the Borough and now have 580 pupils – we are projected to reach 630 as we move three form entry through the rest of KS2.

Putnoe Primary School takes a significant number of its children from an area ranked in the top 20% of the most deprived in the country. 42% of our children receive Pupil Premium funding and over one third is from ethnic minority backgrounds
