It serves the local village and adjacent towns. The school is oversubscribed, with the stability of pupils being above the national average. The school has a significant below average proportion of pupils eligible for Free School meals and Pupil Premium and above the national average for pupil with SEN statements or EHC plans. The majority of pupils are of White British heritage but the rest are from a wide range of minority ethnic backgrounds.
