Marsh Green is an expanding two form primary school. Our pupils come from a range of ethnic backgrounds the largest being African. The proportion of pupils who speak English as an additional language and who are supported by the pupil premium is much higher than the national average. Behaviour is excellent and pupil voice is strong across the school.

Attainment in early years and key stage one have been steadily improving and by the end of key stage two results were also rising, however in 2013 the school unexpectedly did not meet the floor standards for year six. This was partly due to a number of combined factors such as mobility and the number of pupils having English as an additional language; however this posed the question of why did this happen and how do we prevent it happening again?
