Manor Primary School

Manor is a two-form entry school which serves a very diverse, multi-cultural community in East London. Almost 95% of our children are from minority ethnic backgrounds, 24 different groups are currently represented, and 46 different languages spoken. Stability is much lower than nationally with many children joining the school mid-phase; they are usually new to the country, with limited or no English.

The level of deprivation is more than double that found nationally and over half of our children are eligible for free school meals. On entry to nursery almost every child is below expected levels, and approximately half of the children are well below expected levels.

We have a strong belief in inclusive education and have the Inclusion Quality Mark Flagship status. The arts is also central to what we do at Manor and we have Artsmark Gold.
