Kewstoke Primary School is located on the outskirts of Weston Super Mare. Situated on a hillside, it has beautiful views of the sea and a backdrop of woods. It is a small village school housed in a Victorian building with three additional buildings. With high mobility, the school has a diverse, predominately white, British intake. A large number of our families are coping with extreme tensions, particularly economically.

We have a high number of pupils on our SEND register including pupils with the usual range of learning difficulties and, increasingly, many with behaviour and emotional issues. A number of pupils have parents who are ill-equipped to support their children and, as a consequence, our Learning Mentor works with many families to ensure equity for all.
