Hunter’s Bar Junior School

Our imposing Victorian school sits in the South West of the great city of Sheffield, surrounded by independent traders and close to a wonderful park. In October 2018 the school was graded Outstanding in all categories, after a full Ofsted inspection.

We serve a diverse population, with 60% of our families travelling from outside of catchment. It is this mix of cultures, beliefs and views that give Hunter’s Bar its energy and unique character: a contributory factor in how we have approached school improvement. A one size fits all approach will not work here.
