Greenhill Primary School is a popular community school in Bury. With 248 children on roll the school is broadly average in size, has low outward mobility with outstanding attendance and punctuality rates.

The majority of the children are White British with a number of children from ethnic minority backgrounds. The school serves nine different wards across Bury and Bolton; two wards have significant levels of deprivation. Over 45% of children are from beyond the ward of the school. Whilst the school is located in an area of relative prosperity this fails to capture the wide range of prior attainment, capabilities, experience and attitudes of our children.
