St. Thomas’ C.E Junior and Infant School Golborne

St Thomas’ is a warm and welcoming voluntary aided Church of England school. We have a strong Christian ethos resulting in us achieving Outstanding in the church school inspection. Our links with the parish church are extremely strong and the school plays an important part in the life of the Golborne community.

We are a single form school with up to 210 pupils on roll. The large majority of pupils are from white British backgrounds, with a higher than national proportion of children entitled to the pupil premium.

Ofsted inspected our school and judged our provision to be GOOD (November 2014). We were particularly pleased to be recognised as a school with GOOD and OUTSTANDING teaching. Our pupils make good progress over time.
