About Us

Foxfield Primary School is a three-form entry primary school serving a diverse population in the London borough of Greenwich. We have a high proportion of disadvantaged pupils, living within the socio-economically challenged Woolwich community. Our pupils represent a range of ethnic minorities, the largest groups being black African and white British. Our school also provides a designated special provision (DSP) for autistic pupils called ‘The Harbour’. We have 10 pupils on roll who spend a combination of time being taught in mainstream classrooms and in the DSP by a specialist team.

Foxfield Primary School was recognised in September 2015 by OFSTED as ‘outstanding’ and is one of only five schools to have moved from ‘special measures’ to ‘outstanding’ in two section 5 inspections. What makes our story unique is that we managed to achieve this in only four academic terms.
