Fairfield Community Primary School is a small but bustling primary school just south of the Leicester City boundary with 210 pupils on roll. A significant proportion of pupils come to Fairfield from outside the catchment area from two large estates within the Leicester City boundary. Fairfield has a higher than average number of pupils with Educational and Health Care Plans and an increasingly high proportion of Pupil Premium eligibility. Assessment on entry to Fairfield shows that pupils enter wellbelow the national average and the school is proud that pupils now leave above national averages at the end of Key Stage 2. |
