Elkesley Primary School

Elkesley Primary School is a small school within the county of Nottinghamshire. It primarily serves the village it is set in. Eleven percent of pupils live outside of the village. For many of these pupils and their families it is fairly recent decision to attend Elkesley Primary School; based on the warmth of atmosphere, good results and a belief in the leadership of the school. Despite small pupil numbers, just 85 on role, we have a slightly higher than average proportion of disadvantaged pupils who for the last two years have not only made good progress but have attained well by the end of Key Stage 2. We also have a higher than average proportion of children with Special Educational Needs, again these children make good progress.
