After many years of working with young people in various challenging educational settings, myself and my partner and fellow director Emma Brown felt that we could do no more. Setting up a new business away from education was going to be our new enlightenment. Well, life never seems to go to plan and here we are just completing our first year of setting up our own small independent SEMH school for 8 pupils, and we love it! It has been such a difficult journey both mentally and financially, but the way in which our pupils’ lives are changing, has made every difficult day worth it.
