Burnwood Community School is situated in an area of significant social deprivation, creating an on-going challenge, as many pupils have to make accelerated progress from entering their primary education, at well below age related expectations.

Since 2012, the drive for improvement has been relentless, especially as Ofsted continues to raise the bar and push its expectations. Strong leadership is at the heart of our schools success, resulting in a clear, shared vision from the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governors, with everyone accountable for achieving and maintaining the high standards.
