| About Us | Broad Oak Sports College is a smaller than average 11-16 secondary school in the East Ward of Bury. Current Headteacher, Stephen Brecken, was appointed in September 2014 and took over a school that was graded ‘good’ by Ofsted in June 2014. This grading recognised the hard work and dedication of the staff as well as the positive attitudes to school life displayed by the students. Ofsted commented that the students are ‘exceptionally courteous, smartly dressed and come to school equipped and ready for work’ - that rang true then and still rings true today. |
