| About Us | Blacon High School is a popular, 11 – 16 maintained foundation trust, smaller than average school on the outskirts of Chester. The majority of students are of white British heritage and few speak English as an additional language. 53% of students are pupil premium and 30% are SEND, both significantly above the national average; high levels of SEND and Pupil Premium students has a significant impact on outcomes. Following its first ever ‘Good’ judgement from Ofsted, the school moved into a new build in 2016. |
