Barnfield Vale Academy

Barnfield Vale Academy is currently in a transition period from Middle to Primary school. September 2013 was our first year for intake into Reception and Years 1, 2,3 and 4. The fundamental challenge for us has been to sustain high quality provision in KS3 and Upper KS2 whilst developing the provision for our new year groups.

We have 397 pupils on role and the proportion of pupils in the academy with Special Educational needs is below national average. The number of EAL and Pupil Premium pupils is similarly low but increasing quite rapidly as the demographics of the local area change.
